Coca‑Cola Hellenic organized a traditional Coca‑Cola Christmas Truck Tour on New Year's Eve in Russia. The company’s brightly illuminated trucks had driven through 47 Russian cities and brought gifts collected by Coca‑Cola Hellenic employees to orphanages and children’s rehabilitation centers before 7 January 2011.
The Christmas Caravan has traditionally been organized in Russia by Coca‑Cola Hellenic on New Year’s Eve since 2001. This year, 963 of the company’s employees took part in the Caravan festivities held in many largest Russian cities and regional centers with sponsored orphanages.
Nicely decorated trucks featuring Santa on their sides brought gifts to orphanages, rehabilitation centers and hospitals. The Caravan visited the total of 90 social institutions. Some of the company’s employees who had taken an active part in raising funds and collecting the gifts for the children also gave them out as Santas. The Caravan managed to reach 5’942 children all over Russia who attended specially organized stage shows and took part in various games and competitions.
