On 1 February 2011, Coca‑Cola Hellenic Russia held its third Supplier of the Year award ceremony.

The ceremony, held in Swissotel Krasnye Holmy, was attended by Stefanos Vafidis, General Manager, Coca‑Cola Hellenic Russia, Alexandros Papanastasiou, Chief Procurement Officer, Coca‑Cola Hellenic, and by representatives of 60 various companies including primary producers, manufactures of packaging and equipment, marketing materials designers, and marketing companies.

The award, established by Coca‑Cola Hellenic Russia in 2008, is presented based on the annual internal evaluation of the company’s suppliers. This fully transparent evaluation procedure is conducted on a quarterly basis and consists of measuring key efficiency indicators each having their own set of criteria.

By introducing a global practice of business partner recognition into the Russian market, Coca‑Cola Hellenic both motivates suppliers to enhance their performance and gives them an opportunity to strengthen their market positions while building a reputation as reliable business partner.
